Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Random Acts of Kindness

Can’t believe that it’s Thanksgiving weekend and Black Friday deals are still live and we are heading into Cyber Monday! I remember how years ago I would stand in line waiting for the deal, usually an electronic that I was waiting for a deep discount to get. Today many can shop from the comfort of their own home, and deals that lasted one day are extended.

As we polish off the Thanksgiving left overs and search the Black Friday deals, take a moment to think about who you can bless this holiday season. You may find an extra deal to surprise someone randomly, or purchase some extra toys for your local Boys and Girls club or organization sponsored angel tree.

Where I live in our local magazine ideas for “Lending a Helping Hand” were featured. One program is a Secret Santa program for the Department of Family and Children Services for Cherokee County. They serve over 300 children in foster care in our county. The video below was of Ava grabbing some toys to add to their gift selection. Due to COVID there are many restrictions, however Penny and one other local volunteer are going to keep this program running. To see how you can help this holiday season visit www.cherokeesanta.com or call 407-333-8673. This is an example of a way to teach Ava what our holiday season is about as we celebrate the greatest gift of love.

I want her to learn different ways to demonstrate love. This was just one way.

Hope you find joy this holiday season!

That’s Love,

Erica
